Isaacs signs for Gloucester

Tom Isaacs has confirmed that he will join Gloucester next season.

The 27-year old centre, currently on the sidelines following ankle surgery, has put pen to paper on a deal with the Aviva Premiership side and will move to Kingsholm in the summer.

Isaacs signed for the region in 2009 from Newport RFC and has made 66 appearances for the Ospreys, nine of which have come this season. He has scored five tries.

His departure will leave Welsh internationals Ashley Beck, Andrew Bishop and Jonathan Spratt contesting the centre berths with Ben John and new signing, Fijiian international Josh Matavesi, while youngster Matthew Jenkins has also featured in midfield this season.

The Ospreys will continue to work with Tom on his rehab between now and the end of the season before he joins up with Gloucester in pre-season, and we we wish him all the best at his new club.
