Ross Davies is facing a spell on the sidelines after suffering a broken leg during last Friday's training match against Swansea RFC at St Helen's.
The 25-year old tighthead, who signed for the Ospreys from Sale Sharks in the summer, was injured after taking contact in a ruck and was taken to hospital immediately, where the break was confirmed.
Speaking about the injury Ospreys Physio, Chris Towers, said:
“I can confirm that Ross sustained a fracture to the left fibula on Friday. The injury is being reviewed by the orthopaedic team this week, and we will be in a better position to give a clear prognosis following his appointment with the specialist at the end of the week.”
