In their first game at Llandarcy Academy the Young Ospreys did justice to the quality facilities with their best performance of the season.
The Blues South came full of confidence after some quality performances in their recent matches, however, with wing Deke Morse scoring an early try after some excellent work by centre Ben John (pictured) they always trailed in this game. Further first half tries came from fellow wing Chad Punchard (pictured) and open side flanker Guy Jones (pictured). The Blues South kicked two penalties by wing Loren Quick (Half Time score 15-6). Again the Young Ospreys scored early in the second half through an individual try by scrum half Ryan Jones (pictured). With replacement prop Luke Myatt adding a try to the penalty from replacement outside half Craig Davies; the Blues try by flanker Joe Poole and a further penalty and conversion from Quick were just a consolation. Final Score 28 points to 16.
