James Hook today announced that he will join French T14 side Perpignan for next season.
Hook confirmed in November that he would be leaving the Ospreys when his contract expired at the end of the current season, and today’s announcement that he has agreed a three-year deal with the Catalan side means he will move to the Stade Aime Giral in the summer.
The 25-year old has played there once before, when Perpignan defeated the Ospreys 17-15 in the Heineken Cup two years ago, contributing five points with the boot as his team looked to claw their way back from 17-0 down.
Hook completed his century of Ospreys appearances at London Irish two weekends ago, and needs just nine more points to overhaul Gavin Henson at the top of the region’s point scorers list
