Honours even in RGC1404 double-header

The Eyasses returned home from their away day to Colwyn Bay on Sunday with victory for the Under 16's but defeat for the Under 18's.

The Under 16's were too strong for their North Wales opponents, running out 63 -9 victors and scoring ten tries in the process.

The Eyasses were 22 - 9 up at half time through tries from Lewis Evans, Jack Anderson and Martyn Davies with Luke Price kicking  two conversions and a penalty. The only reply from RGC1404 came through two penalties from Joe Williams and a Morgan Williams penalty. 

In the second half the young Ospreys crossed for a further seven tries with two from Martyn Davies to complete his hat trick, Luke Price, James Needs ,Niall Popham, Michael Evans and Ollie Banner all crossing, with three conversions from Luke Price.
 
However, it was a disappointing afternoon for the Under 18's who went down 34 - 8  with RGC1404 crossing for four tries from Rhodri Evans , Jason Blackmore, James Grundy and Dion Jones all converted by Lewis Barker who also kicked two penalties. For the Eyasses, Dominic Carroll crossed for a try and Adam Rowlands kicked a penalty.
