Holley's reaction to Glasgow defeat

Head Coach Sean Holley couldn't hide his disappointment after watching the Ospreys slip to a Magners League defeat in Glasgow.

Speaking after the game, he said:

Im obviously disappointed that weve scored three tries away from home and yet end up coming away with nothing. What is even more disappointing is that we conceded three tries after only conceding four in total in our Magners League campaign up to this game. We slipped off too many tackles and allowed Glasgow too much field position.

We had no real platform with only two lineouts in the Glasgow half, and we lost the territory and possession battle. Take nothing away from Glasgow though. It was only a matter of time before they kicked off their season and we allowed them to do that today.

Pleased for Nikki, scoring a hat trick is a great achievement. He finished very well and looked dangerous. His tries should have secured us at least a point.

Weve only played two home games in the Magners League so far, with four away, and a positive result here would have put the heat on the leaders. As it is, its a missed opportunity and with 17 players now leaving, its up to us and the rest of the squad to work hard and front up next week at home to the Dragons. We will do that and be up for the challenge.
