The Ospreys kick-off their 2012/13 Heineken Cup campaign on Friday with the visit of Benetton Treviso to the Liberty Stadium (KO 8.00pm).
It’s the first game in a touch six match pool, with the Ospreys also drawn alongside four times European champions Toulouse and double winners Leicester Tigers, so a winning start for Steve Tandy’s men is crucial and they’ll need the backing of the Ospreylian public as they look to defend their Liberty!
The Ospreys go into the game on the back of three straight wins in the PRO12 following last weekend’s victory in Italy over Zebre, and looking to maintain an impressive European record at the Liberty Stadium home that has seen them lose just once in the last 19 home fixtures, dating back to 2005.
