The Heineken Cup is back!

The drama, passion and excitement of the Heineken Cup returns to the Liberty Stadium on Saturday when three times winners Leinster are the opponents on the opening weekend of the 2013/14 competition.

Leinster, whose tournament wins have all come in the last five seasons, will bring a squad packed full of world-class quality, and will be looking to improve on last season’s showing when they failed to qualify for the last eight when defending their crown – but did go on to add the Amlin Cup to their ever growing list of honours along with claiming a third PRO12 title.

After a 10,000+ crowd for last weekend’s game against Ulster, the attendance this Saturday will be even higher, ensuring a fantastic atmosphere and great support for the team as they battle for the cause.

It’s all building up to be another memorable European occasion at the Liberty Stadium to sit alongside games such as Sale in 2006, Gloucester in 2008, Leicester in 2009 and 2010 and last season’s clash with Toulouse.

Tickets remain on sale at the Liberty Stadium Ticket Office, online at and via the Ticket Hotline on 0844 815 6665. Supporters are advised to purchase theirs in advance to avoid unnecessary queues ahead of kick-off on Saturday.

Also on sale now are tickets for all PRO12 games up to the end of the year, including the first Welsh derby of the season against Newport Gwent Dragons (Fri 25th October, KO 7.05pm), and the visits of Zebre (Sat 23rd November, KO 2.30pm) and high flying Glasgow on Friday 29th November at 7.05pm, as well as December’s Heineken Cup game against French champions Castres. Prices for all games start at just £20 (adults) and £5 (children).
