A week after 2016/17 season memberships were launched, the Ticket Office is reporting huge demand with sales at double last year’s first week figure – in terms of both revenue and total numbers.
Particularly pleasing has been the response to the new packages for new members, with sales in that category already at a third of the total new member sales recorded last year.
Early feedback from supporters indicates that the outstanding value for money has been a key factor in their decision to purchase and support the cause.
Nigel Jones, Chairman, Ospreys Supporter Club said: “There’s no disputing that the Ospreys offer the best value season membership but they also consistently ensure that supporters feel valued and part of the family which is one of the reasons I’m a supporter for life. We really are one team and I for one, cannot wait until the 2016/17 season to kick off.”
To thank supporters for their overwhelming support, the Ospreys have today launched a competition offering 25 new or renewing season members the chance to attend an Ospreys training session, getting an exclusive behind the scenes experience.
The winners will then enjoy lunch with the squad at the Pavilion, Llandarcy Academy of Sport. The winners will be chosen at random to attend, selected from those who have bought or renewed their season membership before Friday 29th April, 1pm and must be available on Thursday 5th May. The prize is not transferable.
