Special evening kicks off series of summer networking events for Executive Club
The summer calendar of commercial events kicked off a successful networking evening at the Grape & Olive, Swansea Marina, to promote the Executive Club as the place to business on a matchday.
Hosted in conjunction with official Ospreys media partner, South Wales Evening Post, the event saw key commercial contacts of the two organisations coming together to get a flavour of what the popular Executive Club has to offer.
Relaunched ahead of last season and powered by Mercedes Benz of Swansea, the Executive Club offering has proven to be a huge success with local and national businesses, with the number signed up for 2013/14 already exceeding the total last season with two months to go until the campaign gets underway.
Yarnie Guthrie, Commercial Manager at Ospreys Rugby, said:
"It became a very vibrant networking environment and also a very relaxed and enjoyable one so we’re thrilled to be able to continue that momentum; the club’s growing very fast – we’ve already surpassed our numbers for last year.
"There’s no doubt that the Ospreylian business community sees real value in Executive Club membership and we look forward to seeing more joining us in time for the new season."
The Ospreys summer events are an opportunity for local, likeminded business people to get to know each other in a relaxed and informal environment, while finding out more about the Ospreys plans for the coming season, as well as everything which the Executive Club has to offer.
It’s not just business people that use the Executive Club on a matchday, as the lounge is also the team room post match, where players, coaches and management mingle after the final whistle, enjoying the same good food available pre-match to members, creating an old fashioned rugby club atmosphere with quality entertainment before and after the game including guest speakers, Q&A with a key Ospreys figure, and an exclusive chance to hear from the Player of the Day who is whisked up into the Executive Club almost as soon as the game finishes still in his mud, blood and sweat stained Ospreys jersey.
After the success of the Grape and Olive event, where more than 50 specially invited guests mingled and enjoyed hearing the inside word from Welsh internationals Ashley Beck, Duncan Jones and Ian Gough, we continue our summer events calendar throughout July & August with some exciting days already confirmed.
These include a race day at Ffos Las in conjunction with Ryan Jones’ Testimonial Year and an executive golf day at Garnant Golf Club, where we will have squad member appearances, great benefits, hosting and VIP treatment for you and your guests to enjoy.
