Fotuali'i ruled out of Irish double-header

The Ospreys will be without scrum-half Kahn Fotuali'i for at least the next two RaboDirect PRO12 fixtures after he picked up a rib injury during last weekend's draw in Treviso.

The Samoan left the field shortly before half-time, and Head Physio Chris Towers said that he will not be available for selection for Saturday’s game in Connacht and the home match against Munster on 3rd December.

Towers said:

“Kahn’s rib injury will keep him out of contention for the next couple of weeks. At this stage we wouldn’t look to rule him out beyond that, and any decision will be dictated by how he recovers over the next couple of weeks.”

Meanwhile, Adam Jones has returned to the Ospreys for treatment after being released from the Wales squad on Monday due to his ongoing calf issue.
