Ospreys can confirm that lock, James Fender has been sent out on loan to English Championship side Cornish Pirates.
The 21-year old has recently extended his contract at the Ospreys for the next two years and will spend the next season with the Pirates to play in a physical league which is ideal for the development of front five players.
The South Gower second row has featured in the Ospreys Development team over the course of last season and played for Wales at U18, U19 and U20 level.
The Ospreys can recall him anytime if required.
