Players who haven't made selection for this stage must now return to train with their District sides where they will be monitored closely by the Development Officers and Ospreys age grade coaches over the coming months. There will also be a written feedback form sent out to each player with specific comments on areas to work on during the 2010/11 season. Players should keep in mind that this isn't the end of the road for their hopes of being an Osprey is not selected - it is up to them to use the District set-up to earn another opportunity.

Andrew Hore, Elite Performance Director at the Ospreys said:

"The Ospreys vision is to be a sustainable business on and off the field, and in order to achieve that, it is vitally important that that we ensure development from within. The programme that these players have undergone as part of the selection process is central to the vision, as it is allowing us to identify and develop young playing talent, who are the future of the Ospreys.

"Having identified the importance of the District set-up to our development programme, we have worked hard over the last twelve months to build a strong and productive relationship with the three Districts in our region which continues to go from strength to strength, and their support of the programme really helps to make it a success. Swansea District is leading the way in terms of representation for a second season, with 19 players named, I'm sure the other Districts will be working hard to overtake Swansea next season."
