The Ospreys U18's suffered a 23-10 defeat at home to the Blues in their first WRU Regional Championship game of the new season.
After a low-scoring first half it was the Blues who took a three points lead into the break thanks to two penalties from outside half Gareth Thompson, Eyasses outside half Josh White scoring one penalty in reply.
The result was as good as settled within in ten minutes of the restart with Gareth Thompson kicking a penalty and converting tries by centre Lloyd Chalke and full back Jack Barrett for the Blues.
With just ten minutes left on the clock and the game ebbing away the Eyasses scored an excellent try through hooker Evan Yardley who crossed under the posts after a barn-storming run from half way which Liam Popham converted.
In the remaining period of play both sides had further opportunities to add to their scores but the score remained 23-10 to the visitors at the final whistle.
