A last ditch try hands Under-16's win to keep Championship hopes alive...
A try from Ryan Evans in the closing stages was enough to ensure the Eyasses kept up their challenge for a place in the Regional Age Grade Final, thanks to a hard fought victory over Gogledd Cymru at Eirias Parc.
The home team took advantage of the Eyasses missed scoring chances in the first half to take a 12 - 5 lead at half time with tries from centres Mike Jones and Jason Blackmore and conversion from Dion Jones with outside half Ben Thomas crossing for an unconverted try for the Ospreys.
The Young Ospreys dominated possession and territory in the second half but again scoring opportunities were missed before tries from second row Rhodri Hughes and wing Ryan Evans, both converted by outside half Ben Thomas, sealed a hard fought victory.
The result, the fifth win in eight games this season, leaves the Eyasses in second place, four points clear of Blues South.
