Escargot Turbo leading with way in Ospreys

Following a successful trial run last year, the Ospreys Touch League is in full swing once again this season.

A rapidly growing sport that is hugely beneficial for skill development and fitness, touch rugby is fantastic fun for all who take part, and it's last season's champions Escargot Turbo who are so far undefeated and leading the way after week four.

Having begun in May and running until finals day on Friday 27th July, teams from all around South Wales have entered this years competition, which is being hosted by Swansea University. Escargot Turbo are the current leaders on 35 points, closely followed by Show and Go on 31, and Swansea Health Solutions on 28 points. The Ospreys' very own team - The Hairspreys - are currently in mid table with 19 points from their 7 games to date.

With four weeks left to play, it's sure to be an exciting end to the league, as the top four teams strive to qualify for the inter-regional tournament, also held in Swansea, on 19th August. The top four Swansea teams will be joined by four from Llanelli, two from Cardiff, one from Pontyclun and one from North Wales in a tournament that will be refereed by the some of the best officials in the game.
