The WRU will run a pilot Divisional Level 3 coaching course in west Wales, covering the Ospreys and Scarlets regions.
The course, commencing in November, will be run at Parc y Scarletsover a period of six months. This includes attendance at Parc yScarlets on Sunday 15th November 2009, Sunday 6th December 2009, Sunday11th and 18th April 2010 and Sunday May 9th 2010. It also includes homestudy work and two practical coaching assessments. Completion of allaspects is compulsory. (The course costs £300).

Applicants will be expected to hold the UKCC Level 2 coaching awardand be able to clearly demonstrate the ability to coach all aspects ofteam play at a high level.
Applicants may be required to attend an interview, provide videoevidence of their coaching ability, or be assessed conducting a sessionat their club. Unsuccessful applicants will be given an action plan toaid their development as coaches.
Applications for an invitation to join the course should be received by either by 11th September.
