Derby week for Ospreylian Under 16's

It's East versus West this week as both the U16's Development teams and the main sides take each other on for inter-regional pride.

The Ospreys U16's Age Grade Programme is thriving with over 100 young men playing for the region for the East and West development and main team sides. The aim of the programme is to expose as many  of the young players to the highest possible level of rugby.

The U16's season kicked off just before Christmas and the sides have been in action since then against our local rivals. However this week stands to be the highlight of their seasons as both the development and the main sides from the East and West face each other in inter-regional derby games.

The battle of East v West starts tonight (Monday 13th January) as the Ospreys Under 16's East Development side take on the Ospreys Under 16's West Development side. Kick off is at 7pm at LLandarcy Academy of Sport.

The game between the main Ospreys U16's East and West teams will then take place on Wednesday 15th January at the Bridgend Ford Brewery Field, kick off 7.15pm.
