Derby day is almost here......

Bonfire night means just one thing - Derby Day when the Scarlets visit the Liberty Stadium for the Ospreys first RaboDirect PRO12 Welsh derby of the season.

The Ospreys coaches have named their team for this big game early - with five of the Ospreys seven Welsh Rugby World Cup squad members included, while there's also a first start for Samoan scrum half Kahn Fotuali'i and young wing Eli Walker starts a PRO12 game at the Liberty for the first time. There's going to be plenty going on to entertain the biggest crowd of the season ahead of kick-off, with the first ever Ospreys Food Fair getting underway at 4.00pm. There'll be quality locally produced food and drink available in the Supporters Village, and you can read more about it here

There'll also be a chance to meet Ospreys stars Tom Isaacs and Adam Jones ahead of the game at the Liberty Stadium Club Shop, where they will be helping staff to serve customers from 5.15pm - No doubt they'll find time to sign a few autographs and pose for pictures so remember to call in and say hello - and you may even get to meet Ozzie the Osprey while you're there!

And lest we forget, there will be a serious side to events on Saturday, after the game was dedicated to the memory of the four miners who lost their lives at the Gleision Colliery in Cilybebyll in September. There'll be a bucket collection at the ground, while the Ospreys will donate £3 from the sale of every home jersey throughout Saturday to the Swansea Valley Miners Appeal. While the biggest crowd of the season so far is guaranteed, tickets remain on sale for the game, priced from just £20 adults and an unbeatable £1 for children so if you haven't got yours yet there's still time to make sure you don't miss out on what promises to be the biggest rugby occasion of 2011/12 to date.
