After a summer of skills sessions at Cwrt Herbert for all girls in Ospreylia, the Ospreys Girls U15 and U18 squads are nearing the start of a new season.
The sessions were delivered by qualified coaches that planned and prepared sessions that both challenged and entertained the participants, and following the skills sessions a trial day was held for both age groups at Briton Ferry RFC in order to have a look at the players in a match situation.
The U15’s and U18’s continue to train at Cwrt Herbert Playing Fields and despite the fact that the trials have been held the pursuit of talent continues and there is still the opportunity for players to attend training and be considered for the squads.
Age group bands are as follows:
Aged 12, 13 or 14 on August 31st of this year = Under 15‘s
Aged 15, 16 or 17 on August 31st of this year = Under 18’s.
So if you fancy pulling on an Ospreys Regional Jersey and playing against the Blues, Scarlets, Dragons and North Wales come along and join us!!
After Friday the 11th September all sessions for both age groups will be on a Friday at Cwrt Herbert Playing Fields or Llandarcy Academy of Sport. Times and further details will be posted on the website. www.ospreyswomensrugby.co.uk
