College rugby preview

All three of the Ospreylian Colleges will go on the hunt for victories in their respective fixtures tomorrow afternoon.

Neath Port Talbot College will look to continue their impressive start to the season when they welcome Coleg Sir Gar to Llandarcy on Wednesday.

Scoring 20 tries in the last two matches, Neath Port Talbot will hope their rich vein of try-scoring form will spill over to this match, against what is a strong Sir Gar team.

After bagging their first two wins of the season in a row, Gower College Swansea have an opportunity to make it three on the trot as they clash with Pembroke College at St. Helens.

A late Sam Evans drop-goal provided Gower with victory in their previous match but they will hope they can close this game out a lot sooner. Five players will make their first starts for the team.

Bridgend College will try to get back to winning ways as they do battle with Coleg Morgannwg. After a tough outing against fellow Ospreylians, Neath Port Talbot, Tom Bluck and his Bridgend team are hoping to stamp their authority on the game from the start.

Director of Rugby, Gareth Nicholas said: “We have to be more comfortable giving the ball some air. With the personnel we have, this way suits us best.”
