The Ospreys today confirmed that Wales internationals Brent Cockbain and Richard Pugh had now left the region

Pugh this week set off to represent Wales as Captain of the Sevens squad in the IRB World Sevens Series campaign in Dubai and George.
Commenting of his departure, Richie Pugh said
"â¬ÂI'd just like to thank the Ospreys for giving me the opportunity over the past 4 years. I have made many friends at the Region, played alongside some world class players and been part of a great squad, who during that time have won 2 Celtic League Titles and beaten the Touring Australians. I would like to wish the Region every success in the future and also thank the Regions supporters who have been magnificent"â¬Â
Cockbain joins Sale
Commenting on the departures, Ospreys Director of Rugby, Kevin Hopkins:
"By mutual agreement it has been decided that we should now part company with Brent and Richie. We wish them every success for the future and whilst things have not worked out as we would have wished at the Ospreys I am sure they will both do well at their respective clubs."â¬Â
