Mumbles Cricket Club have been denied the chance to gain revenge for their defeat at the hands of the Ospreys last time out after Friday night's scheduled charity 20/20 match was this afternoon postponed because of a waterlogged pitch.
A pitch inspection by club officials at the Marespool Ground confirmed the bad news, with pools of water currently sitting on the outfield and further wet weather forecast over the next 24 hours making the decision a foregone conclusion.
Unfortunately, a busy calendar means that the fixture will not be rearranged.
