Celtic Cup home fixture dates revealed

The Ospreys Development team will head out across the region this season with games at the Morganstone Brewery Field and St Helens, homes of Bridgend Ravens and Swansea RFC.

In just over 3 weeks the Ospreys Development team will be inaction as the Celtic Cup returns for the second year. The competition pits emerging talent from the professional teams of Ireland and Wales and aims to give the young players, and coaches, an opportunity to learn by challenging them to manage themselves and perform within a professional campaign structure week on week.

The Ospreys Development side face a trip to Ireland first, playing Munster on the weekend of the 23rd August before welcoming Connacht to the Morganstone Brewery Field in their first home game on Saturday 31st, KO 12pm.

The following weekend will see the young players travel to Parc Y Scarlets face local rivals, the Scarlets, before hosting Cardiff Blues on Friday 13th September at 7.15pm again at the Morganstone Brewery Field.

Round 5 is the third, and final, home game for the Ospreys Development side, they’ll take on Leinster at St Helens on Friday 20th September, KO 7.15pm, before closing out the competition with an away trip to Ulster, a double-header with the Ospreys PRO14 opener in Belfast, and to regional rivals the Dragons the following two weekends. The final will be played on Saturday 12th October.

Ticketing details will be confirmed by the host clubs in the coming weeks (Celtic Cup fixtures are not included in 2019/20 Season Memberships) and will be communicated to fans via email and social media.
