George North and James Fender

Cadog Homecare swoops for double-player sponsorship

We are delighted to recognise Cadog Homecare Ltd for their support to Ospreys for the 23/24 season, by sponsoring not one, but two of our squad players, George North and James Fender.

A regular for the Ospreys since joining in 2018, George has been an outstanding senior player for the team, with his performances having earned him regular call-ups at international level, most recently featuring in his fourth World Cup competition and his latest call-up to the 2024 Six Nations for Wales.

Meanwhile, James has been enjoying a memorable season which has seen some impressive performances for the side, most notably being named as player of the match in our Boxing Day victory over Scarlets, as well as being highlighted as a breakthrough player in Welsh rugby for 2023.

Speaking on their player sponsorship, Chris Thomas, Director at Cadog Homecare, said:

"Cadog is privileged to be sponsoring both Ospreys teammates. In supporting George, we honour a player whose had a fantastic career, both for Ospreys and the national side, becoming one of Wales' most successful players.

Our support of James comes after recognising his potential this season. We already had a relationship with James from his time at a club we previously sponsored, South Gower RFC, and we are looking forward to his career development with great interest."

Working across the counties of Swansea, Neath Port Talbot, Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion & Powys, Cadog Homecare Ltd is committed to improving the quality of their clients, and enabling them to live safely in their own homes.

Cadog’s assisted living services are undertaken by care professionals who have a genuine passion for helping people. Their support has extended to not only the playing side of Ospreys but also our community group, having recently sponsored their Sporting Memories Carol Service.

We would like to extend our thanks to Cadog for their player sponsorship, and their other activities supporting Ospreys Rugby and Ospreys in the Community.
