Boxing Day derby tickets available now

Tickets for the Boxing Day derby against the Scarlets have gone on sale at the Liberty Stadium Ticket Office, with Ospreys bosses warning supporters that they risk missing out on the big game if they don't move swiftly.

Just over 8,000 tickets are available on general sale to Ospreys supporters, meaning the game is expected to be confirmed a complete sell-out well in advance of the traditional Christmas fixture.

In addition to record season membership numbers of over 9,300, commercial obligations, hospitality and an allocation of tickets for Scarlets supporters means that the stadium is already well over half full, with demand once again set to outstrip supply.

Speaking about the game, Ospreys Chief Operations Officer, Andrew Hore, said:

“With such a fantastic response to our season membership deal this summer it means that the number of tickets available for matchday purchase this season is greatly reduced on previous years. That means for games like this one where demand is always high, supporters really do need to act swiftly and secure their tickets well in advance of the game to avoid disappointment.

“The Boxing Day derby with the Scarlets has established itself as a traditional part of the festive calendar with our three home games against our local rivals so far at the Liberty all selling out well before matchday and this year we’re expecting the, all to have been snapped up earlier then ever given the limited number available.

“My strong advice to any Ospreys fans wanting to be there for this fantastic game is don’t delay getting your tickets otherwise you will miss out on the best party in town this Christmas.”

Tickets for the match are available now, priced from £20 for adults and £5 children, from the Liberty Stadium Ticket Office, online at www.ospreysrugby.com/buytickets and via the Ticket Hotline on 0844 815 6665.
