The BIG one is on sale now

Ospreys v Scarlets at the Liberty Stadium on Saturday 22nd December is on sale now, with tickets available from the Ticket Office and online at ospreysrugby.com/buytickets from just £15*.

Always the most eagerly anticipated fixture of the season, this year’s schedule allows supporters to kick off the festive season in style, with the biggest game in regional rugby scheduled for 3pm on the Saturday before Christmas.

The Ospreys hold the upper hand in the head to head of this huge fixture, with 18 wins to the Scarlets’ 12 in the 31 games played between the two West Wales rivals to date, but it was their opponents who claimed the bragging rights last season in two of the tightest contests in the history of this exhilarating clash.

At the Liberty Stadium last October, the visitors claimed the narrowest of victories, coming out on top by a solitary point in a game that finished 18-19 despite the Ospreys leading inside the final quarter.

It was even more heartbreaking on Boxing Day in biblical weather conditions at Parc y Scarlets as the Ospreys were leading set fair for a win in the monsoon with a 9-5 lead and a scrum in their own half with 80 minutes on the clock, only for Josh McLeod to capitalise an inch perfect Scott Williams cross kick to score the matchwinning try in the corner.

Of course, Williams now wears the famous black shirt of the Ospreys having made a summer switch to the Liberty Stadium, along with two more former Scarlets idols, George North and Aled Davies, giving extra edge to what is always a tasty affair!

Tickets for the BIG one are available now here, via the Ticket Hotline on 01792 616400 and in person at the Liberty Stadium Ticket Office, starting at the unbelievable price of just £15* for adults, £4* for U16s.
