Bassetts help OitC go further

Ospreys in the Community are now able to engage with even more people across the region, thanks to new official vehicle partner Bassetts Citroen.

You may have noticed two rather special new Citroen C3Aircrosses on the roads around Ospreylia recently, after Bassetts Group provided Ospreys in the Community with the award winning SUVs to help take the charity even further.

The cars are being used to transport staff and equipment to schools, clubs and festivals around the region and means that the team can increase engagement and be in more places at once to make an even bigger impact on our community.

Paul Whapham, Head of Community – Ospreys Region, commented on the donation:

“We’re incredibly grateful to Bassetts for providing the charity with the two cars to use. The team has grown from two people to ten people in less than three years and these vehicles will really help take those staff members and equipment even further across our region and means we can attend more events than ever.

“Last season Ospreys in the Community engaged with 45,000 people and now thanks to Bassetts Citroen’s generosity we will be able to reach even more in 2018/19.”

Sam Thomas, Sales Manager, Bassetts Citroen added:

“We’re absolutely delighted that we have been able to help support the fantastic work OitC do by providing them with the Citroen C3 Aircrosses. We’re proud to be part of the wonderful community we have around South Wales and as a business it’s great that we are able to support a charity who do so much with so many people in the area.”
