Adam Jones will miss Saturday afternoon's Heineken Cup clash against Benetton Treviso after suffering a recurrence of the calf injury sustained during the Wales v France Rugby World Cup semi-final.
Jones returned to action last weekend for the Round 1 fixture against Biarritz at the Liberty Stadium but was this morning ruled outof today's game.
However, there was better news for Justin Tipuric and Jonathan Thomas who both came through rigorous fitness tests and will start the game, with Tipuriic taking the captain's armband from the injured Alun Wyn Jones.
Aaron Jarvis comes into the starting line-up with Cai Griffiths coming onto the bench.
