Young Ospreys Return To Llandarcy Academy Of

Tomorrow (Wednesday) evening the Young Ospreys return to Llandarcy Academy of Sport after playing recent matches at Aberavon RFC.

The pitch at Llandarcy was cut up badly after the under 20 match with the Dragons but hopefully after the under 16's have entertained their contemporaries from Gwent, the pitch will be left in a far better condition. Head Coach Alex Evans is aware that the under 16 Reebok League is a keenly contested one again this season and has warned his team not to be complacent and expect the comfortable win that they achieved at Tredegar in September. On that evening the Young Ospreys were stunned by the Gwent outfit in the first half and trailed by 10 points to 7 at the interval; however, four second half tries and immaculate kicking from Tom Pridey (pictured) resulted in a convincing win by 35 points to 10. Evans and his coaches have selected the following team to play the Dragons at Llandarcy Academy of Sport on Wednesday 12th December, 7.15 pm kick off: 15. Tom Pridey14. Bryan Barlow13. Kyle Blackmore12. Andrew Collins11. Eli Walker10. Owen Williams9. Ryan Jones (Capt)1. Rhodri Apsee2. Ryan Curtis3. David Saines4. Luke Joseph5. Ben Davies6.
