During February half term, Ospreys in the Community welcomed over 430 children to the Ospreys High Performance Centre for a weeklong run of rugby camps!
Children aged between 6-12 years old joined us for our ever-popular 3-day camps full of rugby fun where they learnt new skills, met new friends and even got the chance to meet the Ospreys players for selfies and autographs!
On Thursday, our girls camp saw those aged 6-12 strut their stuff out on the field with the next generation of Ospreys women all in attendance.
On the Friday, our senior camps saw boys and girls aged between 12-17 join us to experience a day in the life of a professional player. Coached by Ospreys age-grade coaches they brushed up on their skills and gained new knowledge to take onto the next step in their rugby careers.
As well as the on field sessions, they took part in a nutrition workshop to master the art of fuelling their body for a hard day's training and learnt the ropes of strength and conditioning.
The Ospreys in the Community team are already looking forward to the next round of rugby camps which are set to take place during the Easter holidays. For more information click here.
