TRIBUTES TO SWANSEA BAY AND CELTIC CULTURE IN THE NEW 2025/26 OSPREYS HOME AND AWAY KITS DESIGNED BY MACRON
The Ospreys pay tribute to their territory and to the Celtic heritage that defines it with the new 2025/26 Home and Away Kits created by Macron, which the Welsh club will wear in the United Rugby Championship. A Game Set that, beyond these strong identity-driven references in its design and symbols, also carries a powerful message of sustainability and respect for the environment. Both kits are entirely made of Eco Fabrics, produced 100% from post-consumer recycled plastic.
The new 2025/26 Ospreys Home shirt is predominantly black, with light copper details on the collar and sleeve edges. The shirt features a sublimated graphic covering both the body and sleeves, with a tone-on-tone depiction of Swansea Bay and the wider Ospreys region, accompanied by a an outlined emblem paying tribute to the Ospreys future home ground at St Helen’s.
On the chest, in light copper, the Macron Hero is embroidered on the right, while on the left is the club crest. The inner collar is customised with a label echoing the shirt’s graphic background, featuring the club crest and the wording OSPREYS, together with the Macron logo and the phrase ‘Designed in Bologna’, certifying how every garment is conceived, designed and developed at the Macron Campus.
On the back of the external collar, in light copper, appears the outline of the Ospreys region, accompanied by the St Helen’s emblem at the bottom of the shirt with the Ospreys crest at its centre. The Home kit is completed with black shorts featuring light-copper drawstrings and side bands recalling the shirt’s graphic. The socks are black with a light-copper horizontal stripe just below the top border.
The new 2025/26 Ospreys Away shirt combines white and teal, with black details around the V-neck collar, sleeve edges and seams. The shoulders, sleeves and sides are decorated with a graphic featuring a repeated Celtic knot design, in teal on a white background. This symbol represents connection, unity and friendship, with interwoven lines that have no beginning or end. The same knot is reproduced in embossed print on the left front of the shirt.
On the back of the external collar, the club crest is printed in black alongside the acronym OITC – OSPREYS IN THE COMMUNITY. This is a non-profit foundation working in partnership with the Welsh club to deliver a range of programmes focused on sport and physical activity, health and wellbeing, education and employment.
As in the Home version, the St Helen’s emblem with the club crest at its centre is embossed on the back of the shirt near the hem. The kit is completed with white shorts with teal side bands featuring the Celtic knot graphic. The white socks have two horizontal stripes just below the top border – one teal, the other black.
The new Ospreys kits come in a slim fit and are made of Eco Armevo. Inserts in Eco Boditex and Eco Strong Mesh also ensure high performance and durability, combined with lightness and perfect breathability.
The kits, together with the apparel line created by Macron for the Ospreys, are available at the Ospreys Rugby Heaven shop at the Quadrant Shopping Centre, the Macron Sports Hubs on Carmarthen Road in Cwmbwrla, Swansea and Abbey Road Industrial Estate in Neath, and in the section dedicated to the Welsh club on macron.com. A pop up shop will also be in operation at the Brewery Field during our friendly against Exeter Chiefs on Saturday 6th September.
