Ospreys Rugby and WAVE.tv, the sports media company for today’s fan, announce a commercial partnership that will increase the volume of rugby coverage across WAVE.tv’s portfolio of media brands, while expanding Ospreys Rugby’s fan base globally.
This groundbreaking agreement for rugby union provides WAVE.tv with access and rights to leverage Ospreys Rugby game highlights and archived footage, to develop content that will be shared across WAVE.tv’s portfolio of 18 media brands.
The sports media company entertains modern day sports fans with the programming they love, produced for the digital platforms where they spend the most time, including Snapchat, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube.
WAVE.tv reaches 200 million viewers and receives 3.2 billion views monthly across it’s portfolio of media brands.
The Ospreys recently announced a major multi-million pound investment by Asian-based sports marketing company Y11 led by Welshman James Davies-Yandle. Part of Y11’s vision and strategy is to expand the Ospreys brand to new territories and markets to increase and maximize its commercial potential.
