Ospreys celebrate 500 games

It all began in August 2003 at the Lewis Lloyd Ground in Pembrokeshire with a 0-42 victory against Narberth. Since that day the Ospreys have gone on to win 274 games, with 16 draws and 209 defeats.

This Saturday we take to the field against Connacht for the 28th time, proudly boasting a 81.5% win rate against the Irish region.

To mark the occasion, we have produced 500 commemorative badges which will be available to ticket holders for the Connacht game at the Club Shop at the Liberty Stadium from 1pm on Saturday.

We will also be reliving some of the great moments in our 499-game history like #MATCH436 where a 19 year-old Keelan Giles' scored two stunning tries against the Dragons. Watch out for some thrilling stories on our social media pages.

With the Rugby World Cup coming to an end the attention of the game now turns to domestic rugby and this game against Connacht, match #500, is the beginning of an exciting new journey for Ospreys rugby as we begin to rebuild for the future. Will you be part of it?
