The Ospreys have teamed up with Halo Leisure ahead of Friday's game against Sale Sharks in Bridgend, to provide eight new outlets in the county for supporters to buy match tickets.
Halo Leisure is the not-for-profit organisation which runs leisure centres and services across the county on behalf of Bridgend County Borough Council. In a first for the Ospreys, Halo have agreed to opened up their facilities to the region, allowing them to take tickets out to the heart of the community.
Priced at £10 adults, £5 concessions, tickets for the game on Friday 31st January are on sale now at the following outlets:
Bridgend Recreation Centre
Garw Valley Leisure Centre
Ogmore Valley Life Centre
Pyle Swimming Pool
Pencoed Swimming Pool
Maesteg Sports Centre
Maesteg Swimming Pool
Ynysawdre Pool and Fitness Centre
In addition, tickets can be purchased from Tesco stores across the region, including Tesco Extra Bridgend, with the Bridgend town centre store also soon to be selling tickets.
Ospreys Chief Executive, Andrew Hore, welcomed the new partnership, saying:
“This is a really exciting development for the Ospreys, one that we believe will get a very positive response from the rugby community in the Bridgend district.
“It is the first time that we have ever been able to make tickets available to buy right at the heart of the local community and we are extremely grateful to Halo Leisure for helping us to make this possible.
“Tickets can also be purchased from the Bridgend Ford Brewery Field, which means that along with our growing network of outlets at Tesco stores in the region, tickets for this game will now be available at 17 different retail outlets. That’s incredible growth given that as recently as November match tickets could only be purchased from the Liberty Stadium Ticket Office.
“Having a wide network like this makes it easier than ever for supporters to get their hands on match tickets, and is essential for the continued growth of the Ospreys, particularly in the Bridgend area where we have considerable support and always receive fantastic backing when we play in the town.”
