Castle Scaffolding sign up for two more years

Castle Scaffolding Wales Ltd, long term commercial partners of the Ospreys, have committed to a new and upgraded two-year deal that will see their logo on the back of the new Canterbury Ospreys shirt.

  • Operating from St Clears and Capel Hendre, Castle Scaffolding now employ 40 people
  • Originally came on board as a ground board advertiser and have increased their investment into the Ospreys year on year and will now feature on the shirt for the next two seasons
  • "This is a true partnership for the longer term" says Director, Wyn Thomas

The deal marks a natural progression for the West Wales based company, who have graduated from ground board advertising at the Liberty Stadium to become a premium partner of the Ospreys.

Last season saw Castle feature on the back of the match shorts for the first time and now, as well as retaining that position, they have also secured the high profile, high neck spot.

Founded in 2004 by Jason Evans and Wyn Thomas, who remain in charge of day-to-day operations, Castle Scaffolding employ 40 people from their St Clears base and a new depot at Capel Hendre, working with the likes of fellow Ospreys commercial partner, Morganstone, as well as Hygrove, Persimmon, TRJ Construction and Dawnus, among others.

Jason Evans, Director, Castle Scaffolding Wales Ltd, said:

“We are delighted, and proud, to be able to extend our sponsorship of the Ospreys and will now feature prominently on the new Canterbury jersey this season.

“The relationship with the region has grown year on year, from initially simply looking to promote our company through advertising to where we are now. We truly feel like a valued partner of the Ospreys and are excited about working closer than ever over the two years of this agreement and beyond that.”

Fellow Director, Wyn Thomas, said:

“I’d echo Jason’s comments. The relationship with the Ospreys has been first class and has developed beyond all recognition. The prestige that comes with being a partner of Wales’ most successful region has enabled us to grow our company, raising awareness and generating new business and, for us, that is key. This is a true partnership for the longer term.”

Wayne Hall, Head of Sales, Ospreys Rugby added:

“Nothing gives us more pleasure than to see a commercial relationship developing in the way the Castle Scaffolding relationship has. From entry level on an advertising board, through the networking opportunities that come with membership of the match day Executive Club, the partnership has thrived with increased investment every year as they appreciate the benefits of association with the Ospreys. Long may it continue.”
