Chris is current deputy chairman of Ospreys Rugby. Chris is renowned for being very successful in business and has a keen passion for enterprise and entrepreneurship.
Among a number of other projects, Chris currently spends some of his time acting as an advisor to student groups and senior management at Southampton University, assisting on a range of social enterprise projects.
Andrew is currently an Honorary Professor and Strategic Adviser to the Vice Chancellor and the Senior Management Team at Swansea University. In a voluntary capacity, he is the Chair of the National Dance Company; Non-executive Director and Trustee of the Charity Bank and Chair of the Welsh Commission on Co-operatives and Mutuals.
Between 1999-2011, Andrew Davies was a Member of the National Assembly for Wales and a Welsh Government Cabinet Minister. Andrew provides valuable support to Board and in particular on our Health pillar.
Karl has had a long and distinguished career in education. Previously as Director of Education within a Local Authority and more recently at Welsh Government. Karl is passionate about improving children’s attainment through new and innovative ways of learning. Karl provides valuable support to Board and in particular on our Education pillar.
Roger Blyth is currently Chairman of Ospreys Rugby. Roger has had a distinguished career in both business and Sport representing Swansea RFC and Wales on no less than 393 and 6 respectively. Roger's wealth of experience within business development and governance brings great value to the board.
Raymond Ciborowski is the head of the University's administrative and support services and deputy chief executive officer. In the absence of the Vice Chancellor he is responsible for the efficient and effective functioning of the University.
Prior to joining the University and taking on this role in 2008, he had a career in social work, including appointments as the Head of Children's Services at Neath Port Talbot County Borough Council and Director Barnardo's Cymru.
