The West Wales based company, who operate out of bases in St Clears and Capel Hendre have been commercial partners of the region for a number of seasons, growing their relationship with the Ospreys year on year.

Having begun with ground board advertising at the Liberty Stadium before growing their investment to take in matchday hospitality, with Executive Club membership, and player sponsorship, this season they have become premium kit partners of the Ospreys with their logo to set to feature on the region’s match shorts.

In addition, Castle Scaffolding have agreed a separate commercial deal that will see their logo feature on the back of four individual match jerseys, with shirt numbers 11, 14, 15 and 23 set to include their branding. For a third season, the company will also sponsor back-rower Tyler Ardron.

Jason Evans, Director, Castle Scaffolding Wales Ltd, said:

“We are proud to see our company logo on the Ospreys kit for the 2016/17 season. We first got involved with the region a few years ago to promote our company and thanks to the way that we have been able to work closely with the commercial team, the relationship has really developed. We feel like a real partner, not just a sponsor, with all the associated benefits of being a recognised partner of Wales’ leading rugby team.”

His fellow Director, Wyn Thomas, added:

“Our involvement with the Ospreys has been excellent for the business. Membership of the Executive Club has allowed us to network and generate new business, while awareness of our company is growing. We are looking forward to the new season and continuing to work in partnership with the Ospreys.”

Founded in 2004, Castle Scaffolding now employ 36 people and their clients include fellow Ospreys commercial partner, Morganstone, as well as Persimmon and Dawnus. They have recently constructed two camera towers at Llandarcy Academy of Sport to assist the Ospreys’ analysis team with their work at the region’s training ground.

Wayne Hall, Head of Sales, Ospreys Rugby, said:

“We’re delighted that our relationship with Castle Scaffolding has grown from the most humble of beginnings to where it’s at now with this announcement. From an advertising board to featuring on the kit, we believe that the way we nurture our commercial relationships is the correct way to do business and both parties are reaping the rewards of that approach.

“Castle Scaffolding are the latest business from West Wales to team up with Ospreys Rugby, joining Ledwood Mechanical Engineering, Morganstone and Symltech on the kit next season, looking to benefit from the exposure that comes with being on the second biggest selling rugby shirt in the UK and Ireland."
