Phillips confirms London Welsh move

Greene King IPA Championship side London Welsh have confirmed the signing of Ospreys winger Kristian Phillips for next season.

The 25-year old came through the development pathway at the region, scoring four tries in 20 games and becoming the youngest ever player to start a Celtic League game for the Ospreys, aged 17 years and 250 days, when he lined up against Connacht at The Sportsground, Galway, in May 2008. He set another record when he marked the occasion with a try to become the league’s youngest try scorer.

He is out of contract at the region at the end of this season after returning to the Ospreys last summer following three years with the Scarlets, and has made two further appearances this season.

Everybody at Ospreys Rugby would like to wish Kristian all the best at his new club.
