Ryan Jones will miss the start of the new season after undergoing keyhole surgery.
The back-rower went under the knife after re-aggravating a historic knee injury in training.
Ospreys Head Physio, Chris Towers, confirmed:
“After undergoing investigation and bearing in mind where we are in the season it was agreed that the best course of management was for Ryan to have some minor keyhole surgery.
“The early prediction sees him back available around the six week mark.”
