3 to watch - Munster

Ospreys face Munster at the Liberty Stadium tomorrow evening (KO 6:30pm) as we look to get our first home win of the season.

Having seen three fantastic matches between the two sides last season, including the epic RaboDirect PRO12 Semi Final victory, it's sure to be a fantastic occasion tomorrow. We've picked our 3 Ones to Watch as we countdown to the action starting.

Between them at the start of this season, this trio of twenty something year olds had just 22 Munster senior caps between them. They would be expected to considerably add to that tally this season and at this early stage have already made a considerable mark on the Munster set-up. All three are products of the Munster Academy and has represented Ireland at U20 level.

Dave O'Callaghan (Flanker)
22 years of age from the fishing town of Youghal in Co Cork. H made an immediate impression on his debut last season against Ospreys at Thomond Park Stadium before going on the win 8 starting XV caps in the RaboDirect and a European debut off the bench against Northampton Saints in Milton Keynes. An indication of his potential is best gauged by the fact that he spent the early part of this week training with the national squad in Carton House.

JJ Hanrahan (Outside Half)
He's from Castleisland in Co Kerry the home of former Munster captain Mick Galwey and Hanrahan's next birthday will be his 20th. A British & Irish Cup winner last year he then went on to play a starring role for Ireland in South Africa in the Under 20 World. Last weekend he made his senior Munster bow coming on as a second half replacement for Ronan O'Gara at Thomond Park Stadium.

Paddy Butler (No. 8)
The Limerick man Has been impressive at British & Irish Cup level this past three seasons. Played in the inaugurial final and last season was hugely influential in Munster's run to the title. He made his senior debut in December 2010. He's still twenty one years of age and with the injury to James Coughlan has been handed the number 8 shirt as they head into what coach Rob Penney has called a massive period for Munster.
