Ospreys Regional Coaching & Refereeing
By Ospreys Rugby | 24/06/2010
The annual Ospreys Coaching Conference has this year been extended to include Referees.
It will be a great opportunity for coaches to gain a greater understanding of the role of the referee and how this can be of significant benefit to coaching. Equally, referees can learn more about the aims and methods of coaches. This approach can only be advantageous to the game as a whole.
The refereeing module will be delivered by senior Welsh Rugby Union referees, James Jones and Huw Watkins.
We are also delighted to announce that, in addition to the Senior Ospreys coaching and management team, Joe Lydon, Welsh Rugby Union Head of Development and Performance and Phil Davies, Welsh Rugby Union National Academy Manager, will also be making presentations.
Sean Holley will be conducting an interactive Coaching Workshop, so if you have any issues or topics you would like debated, please let us know and we will cover as many topics as possible.
The Conference is restricted to UKCC Level 2 coaches and above. Admission will be £20 per head to include a light snack lunch and places are STRICTLY limited.
Demand will be high so coaches are requested to please complete the attached application form and return with your cheque as soon as possible (click here to download).
Referees should make application to James Jones or Huw David.
