Biggar delighted with Ospreys win - but there's room for improvement

"It was worth the wait. The boys were superb at times today. To come back here in front of a packed house and to put on a show for them was pretty special. It's not bad playing behind a pack of forwards that is going so well at the moment. It makes our jobs as backs pretty easy.

"We're obviously delighted in the dressing room at the moment. There was frustration all round yesterday but we didn't allow ourselves to get rattled by the delay, we've come in today and done our jobs.

"All credit to the fans, I think the general feeling was that the crowd would be way down today because of the problems of people not being able to make it after it was rearranged at short notice but we had more than 18,000 here in the end and we are just glad that we were able to repay them for their efforts, We are building up a bit of momentum after the wins against Munster and the Scarlets, we've had big crowds and we need to keep that going into a huge month in January.

"I'm enjoying playing rugby at the moment. The Ospreys is a great place to play rugby, it's a great environment at the moment. We're all enjoying ourselves and I think it's starting to show on the pitch. The Scarlets have been flying high, so it's pretty special to get a result like this, it'll live in the memory.

"It wasn't the perfect performance by any stretch of the imagination though, and while we will be delighted to have won in the manner we did, we know that we have to raise our games quite a few notches still. I'm sure the coaches will have pinpointed a few areas for improvement and no doubt they will have us working hard to put those right, but it's a fantastic position to be in, scoring seven tries and 60 points, knowing that there is still plenty of work to be done on our game.

"It's a quick turnaround though, we'll have to get ourselves together pretty quickly ready for the Blues on Friday. It's a great time to play rugby and it'll be another great occasion for us to enjoy."
