Bridgend next up for the Italian Job

It is the third day of the Ospreys homage to the classic sixties film, that has seen groups of players hitting the streets of the region ahead of Saturday's Magners League game against Aironi at the Liberty Stadium this Saturday (KO 6.30pm) in a convoy of MINI Coopers, pursued by a Polizia BMW, causing members of the public to do a double take along the route.

As part of the build up to the game, the players visited Mamma Mia in Swansea on Tuesday and Café Di Napoli in Neath on Wednesday, and will return to Mamma Mia on the final day of the Ospreys Italian Job. Despite rush hour traffic jams on Wednesday morning, the likes of James Hook, Adam Jones and Paul James were delighted to be welcomed by café-full of supporters when they made their delayed arrival, many of whom picked up the special vouchers only available at the participating venues this week which qualify them to purchase four tickets for the Aironi game for just £10.

Wednesday will see a host of players, including Lee Byrne, Barry Davies, Andrew Bishop, Sonny Parker, Richard Fussell and Mike Phillips heading off from Bridgend RFC's Riverside Hardware Brewery Field at 7.50am, taking a route that will see them head off onto Tremains Road past Pen Y Bont Primary, through Brackla, past Tremains Junior School, through Waterton before passing Brynteg Comprehensive, heading down past Pen Y Fai Primary School before reaching Zia Nina at approximately 8.50am.

The players will be taking orders and serving commuters their early morning coffee until 9.45am, when they will head back down the M4 for a full training day at Llandarcy.

All supporters who attend the event at Zia Nina can collect their special 'four tickets for £10' voucher, which can be presented at the Liberty Stadium Ticket Office ahead of kick-off on Saturday to allow you to purchase cut-price tickets for the game.

The final day of the Italian Job on Friday will see the likes of Dan Biggar, Ryan Jones, Alun Wyn Jones and Shane Williams take their turn at Mamma Mia.
