Blackout the Liberty for the Ospreys - and win!

The prize will go to the best dressed 'Blackout' supporter, with four contenders being picked out of the crowd shortly before kick-off by non-playing members of the Ospreys squad, to take part in a half-time crowd vote, with the loudest cheer from the stands deciding the winning vote.

It's easy to participate - all you have to do is turn up for Saturday's game dressed ready for the Blackout - wear black, paint your face or wave your black flag, it all helps to create a great visual impact.

Ospreys Managing Director, Roger Blyth, said he hoped that fans coming to the game would take part in, and enjoy, the Blackout:

"Despite the disappointment of losing last weekend and all the implications surrounding that, there is still a great deal to play for on Saturday afternoon, not least a possible Amlin Cup place and important ERC ranking points that can dictate what level seeding we get for next season, so it's an extremely important game that we need to be at our best for.

"The supporters who attended the Madejski Stadium on Sunday were magnificent, as our fans have been at home and away all season, so everyone here is extremely disappointed that we couldn't reward them with a win. Their backing has been a real credit to the region and it's something we value incredibly highly. However, we all need to show real character and bounce back on and off the field, and really show the kind of strength and spirit that all good teams have.

"It's our ambition to be able to nurture a Blackout environment where it becomes second nature to our fans to wear black, paint their faces and wave their flags at games, and to help that along, we have this competition running on Saturday where the best Blackout participant can watch the Ospreys for nothing for the rest of the season. It's a bit of fun, but the impact of the Blackout as it begins to grow can send out a strong message about the sense of unity across Ospreylia."
