Travel to the Liberty Stadium for home games

Postby Doris » Tue Jul 10, 2012 10:10 am

We already run buses from Neath and Port Talbot and this season we're adding a bus from Pembrokeshire to the fleet. There have been rumblings from other parts of Ospreylia about needing buses to home games. With the huge increase in memberships there must be more of you needing transport so now is the time to let us know and we can get them set up before the season starts.

It would be helpful if there are a few of you who want to come, to make the buses more viable, so ask around your friends (and even better, let us know if you'd be prepared to coordinate a bus from your area). We can arrange for buses to have pick up points en route, so for example, a Heads of the Valleys bus could pick up in Merthyr, one coming down the Swansea Valley could pick up at various points such as Ystalyvera, Pontardawe, Clydach, etc.

There will be a 49 seater bus leaving the Bryncoch Inn at 13:50, and picking up at Neath Train Station at 14:00 (I'll check there are no layabouts in Wetherspoons before we leave Neath - you know who you are!!!)

Please email grant@ospreyssupportersclub.com or text/phone me on 07557371958 to book your places.

Cost will be £5 per adult & children at a discounted rate depending on how many there are on the bus (adults and kids)

Hi

As you will know we have been looking at putting on buses from further a field; but at the moment the interest is not enough to justify putting on additional buses.

It’s a geographical nightmare; we could put on a bus combining 4 areas; however it would mean that some supporters could be on the bus for nearly 2 hours. I am sure no one wants that
...

So unless interest increases in all areas; the only buses running to the stadium will be the Port Talbot and Neath ones.

Please if you have not already e-mailed or advised us on here please let us know ASAP.

Simply add a comment saying area for pick up and numbers or send us an e-mail transport@0spreyssupportersclub.com.

Also please advise if you would be interested in being a bus rep for us as we will require someone on the bus to take monies for the journey

Thanks Everyone
