The 2010 Ospreys Coaching Conference takes place at Llandarcy on Sunday 15th August, and the region's Coach Development team have now finalised the schedule for the day.
Ospreys Rugby
These coaching events are delivered on in East and West Ospreylia, with a select few being delivered at Llandarcy Academy of Sport. The events consist of both on and off field deliveries. Each module includes a Question and Answer session to enhance engagement with the target audience.
An Ospreys Regional Coaching Association (O.R.C.A.) was established in July 2009 for Ospreys based Level 3 coaches to provide a forum for innovation. The results of discussions within this group will be made public to Ospreys based coaches to further enhance the development of the game.
To further improve the efficacy of the sessions, James Jones, WRU Referee and Referees Co-ordinator Coordinator, has agreed to arrange for a WRU Referee to attend each session to provide an insight into the relevant laws and how they are applied.
Each event the Coach Development Department operate, we aim to produce an online resource to support the event for members of the coaching community who were unable to attend. Please find below downloadable resources for all the events we have operated to date. Please check back frequently for updates as events are operated on a regular basis.
