Ospreys in the Community rugby camps return this July and August and with a new outreach camp as well as the old favourites there’s something for everyone!
Our ever popular rugby camps are back in action this summerholiday, and with something for children aged 6 – 17, they’re the perfect way to keep the kids entertained while they learn new skills.
We kick things off at the end of July with our three day camp in Llandarcy, where children aged 6 – 12 years old not only get to hone those rugby skills, but also make friends, have lots of fun and even meet the Ospreys players! Planning on getting away as soon as school ends? Not to worry we’ll also be closing out the summer holidays with a second three day camp at Llandarcy from Tuesday 27th August.
Brand new for 2019 is our Outreach camp at Penyrheol Leisure Centre on Friday 16th August. Perfect for those based in Western Ospreylia the camp, run by fully qualified OitC coaches, costs just £20 and like all our camps is open to all youngsters, whether they’re mini pros or have never tried the sport.
On the same day our ever popular Outreach Camp at Archbishop McGrath High School returns, this camp is often a sell out so make sure you book your 6 – 12 year olds on soon!
Don’t worry we haven’t forgotten our older players! Senior camp is also back at Llandarcy Academy of Sport for boys and girls aged 13 – 17 years old. Not only do we focus on the on field skills for those looking to take the next step with their rugby playing, but a professional strength and conditioning coach also introduces them to using them gym and training safely.
