New Year, New You?

By Ospreys in the Community | 01/01/2019

Are you aged 16 – 24, not in education, training, or employment and looking for a new challenge in 2019? An Ospreys in the Community Traineeship could be the thing for you.

This January Ospreys in the Community start a new run of our part-time traineeships which give young people who are not in education, training or employment a chance to gain employability skills, learn about different opportunities in work and education and build self-confidence.

Trainees will gain work experience with the OitC team, visit a wide range of workplaces and gain qualifications. Focus will also be on the individual, on their personal development and to help improve their confidence.

OitC link with education and careers partners to show the students different options for their future and the project is highly successful with almost 90% of young people on the programme gaining employment, going back in to education, signing up for a training programme or gaining volunteering experience following competition.
