Will Jones has today undergone surgery on the ankle injury sustained on Wales U20 duty last weekend.
The youngster, captain of the age-grade side, was forced out of the action early on against the Italians.
He had scans on the injury earlier this week and after specialist advice it was agreed that the best course of treatment for Will was surgery.
He had the operation today (Thursday), which rules him out beyond the end of the season.
